Where to Get Magma Coal in Total Battle
Magma Coal comes from the Inferno crypt (Common, levels 5–25). It's used in 6 pieces across 1 set.
It also turns up in Rare and Epic crypts, but the Inferno crypt drops it every time, so that's the one to farm.

Let a bot run these crypts
TB Crypt Auto-Explorer is a Chrome extension that runs the crypt loop for you: it sets the Watchtower filter, sends Carter (or three captains at once), speeds up the march with your own speedups and sends him out again the moment he's home. It never buys Tar or anything else.
